Divination Instructions
Traditional Three-Coin Method
The three-coin method is one of the most commonly used divination techniques in the I Ching. Six throws of three coins determine the six lines, forming a complete hexagram.
Coin Meanings
- Heads (字): Represents Yin line, value = 2
- Tails (花): Represents Yang line, value = 3
